1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the AreaFoods mobile app, website, and related services.
  • "User" refers to customers, restaurants, vendors, and delivery riders using AreaFoods.
  • "Vendor" refers to restaurants or food suppliers offering their products on AreaFoods.
  • "Rider" refers to individuals delivering orders to customers.

2. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old to place or fulfill orders.
  • Vendors must provide accurate business details and comply with food safety regulations.
  • Riders must meet all requirements set by AreaFoods, including valid identification and necessary permits.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate personal and payment information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You shall not use the platform for fraudulent activities or disrupt the service.

4. Ordering & Payments

  • Orders are confirmed only after payment (cash on delivery may be available in some locations).
  • Prices are set by vendors, and AreaFoods is not responsible for pricing errors.
  • Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy.

5. Vendor Obligations

  • Vendors must ensure food quality, timely order preparation, and accuracy.
  • AreaFoods may suspend vendors for poor service, low ratings, or policy violations.

6. Rider Obligations

  • Riders must deliver orders promptly and professionally.
  • Any misconduct, delayed deliveries, or customer complaints may result in suspension.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders cannot be canceled after preparation has started.
  • Refunds may be processed for wrong or missing items, late deliveries, or quality concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • AreaFoods is a marketplace, not a food producer or delivery provider.
  • We are not responsible for food quality, preparation errors, or vendor issues.
  • Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

9. Privacy Policy

  • We collect and store user data to enhance our services.
  • Your information is not sold to third parties, except as required by law.

10. Termination & Suspension

  • AreaFoods may suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.
  • Vendors and riders may be removed for low ratings, misconduct, or fraudulent activity.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
  • Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or arbitration before legal action.

By using AreaFoods, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform.
